The 'Grave Reference' is the specific identifier for each Grave and is essential for delivering your chosen service. The reference is located on the back of your loved ones' memorial headstone and is usually located along the bottom.

Also, it can be located on the Deeds for the Grave, this document would have been issued to the person who arranged the burial. If neither of these are available, you can contact the Local Authority responsible for the Cemetery your loved one is located.

You will need to have the deceased person's full name, their date of birth and the Cemetery they are located in. You may be charged a fee by the Local Authority to retrieve this information. Alternatively, if you have the full name and their date of birth, 'Love in the Mist' can locate the Grave for you, we have a standard administration fee of £25.00 for this service.
